Hi,

I was wondering if the VX 800 & VX 900 can be programmed to 440megs with no problem???......is all the UHF line of vetex capable of going down to 440megs ham band????

From everything I've seen and heard......it should be able to get to 440. I think that if you use it from 440 and up, you should be good.

I'm in the same boat....I'm waiting to hear from my regional Vertex rep, and if I like what he has to say, my Jedi's are GONE! (except 1 for sentimental value)

The only operational /\/\ portable I'll have is my 800 then.
