Anybody know which pot inside the FTL-7011 mobil
radio is used to adjust the squelch?

Set signal genreator for 0.2 uv output @ 3.3 Khz Dev.

Turn VR1001 (Squelch) fully counterclockwise. Squelch will open.

Turn VR1001 (Squelch) clockwise wise on the MAIN UNIT so the squelch just closes and then counterclockwise very slowly until the squelch opens.

Turn off signal from RF signal generator output and then turn varify that it does open.Check to see if squelch opens.

If not, turn VR1001 (Squelch) very slowly counterclockwise until squelch opens.

You may have to do this a few times “ ON/OFFâ€￾ from signal generator until you have the squelch opening with the 0.2 uv signal input. @ 3.3 Khz Dev.

An alignment procedure for a squelch adjustment???That is really funny!
Squelch is a personal choice depending on noise floor or users lack of dealing with white noise.
I never had a yaesu/vertex service man in front of me,wish I did for when I need a laugh!

This of course is an internal Tech adjustment and not intended for a end User adjusment, hence the need to " Get it Corrrect " the first time no matter who uses the radio the squelch is at a Fixed set point.
