TK-370 D17 location help

I just purchased a TK-370 and the self-programming mode is disabled. Can someone provide me with details on locating D17 so I can remove it? Another question is can I use a programming cable and software to program this regardless of D17 or other measures previous taken to disable self-programming? Thank you in advance.
