VX-10 Alignment mode/Instructions

Ok, apparently the VX-10 service manual is long NLA, so I was wondering if anyone had a copy or knows how to place the VX-10 into alignment mode? It's some sort of jumper on the programming adapter to get it into service mode so the alignement can be performed. I have 2 here that are bugging me as they are deaf and won't transmit more than a watt out. I want to make sure before I trash em that they have been properly aligned. Thanks for any help. I found the field programming mod and they would be great for that if I can get em workin to specs. Thanks for any info!!!
