Commander II Speaker Mic with EFJ 5100

Hi all,

Does anybody know if the Motorola Commander speaker mic with volume knob and channel buttons will work with a 5100 (non-ES)? Firmware is 4.8.10 FWIW.

The mic itself (tx/rx) might work but the volume and channel button will not.
Haven't tried it myself though.
