Hey Guys -

I was able to score a brand new in box SMA. My goal is to be able to use this to load Motorola equipment as I don't own any EFJ's. Has anyone done this? Any circuit or pinout that is needed?

I'm going to dig around and see if I can find a PN from Motorola for a serial to hirose cable (as their 3k/3k+ have serial ports).

Did you by chance get it at HamVention? There was a fella with a brand-new (NIB)
PDA/SMA for sale with some used EFJ portables. I tried to get the SMA separately but no luck.
Turns out it was sold on the last day to some lucky bastid.

Just today someone snagged (before I could get it) a MOTO KVL-3000 DES-XL DES-OFB
with charger, battery, etc for $550 'buy it now'.
It was listed BIN for $700 last night..seller reduced to price to move
it and it sure did move! Back to looking for a 3011DX.
