The Radio Information Board

Hi,

I currently have EFJ 5100ES Model I (No display).

From the info I got on here it's currently doing UHF 8-470 MHz.

What I want to know is, if it's possible to switch the radio to the 800mhz band?

Most of the UHF radios are the low range so it'll do 380-470.
It cannot due 7/800 MHz. You'd need to switch the Rf decks, and re option the radios and have it re-serialized(ESN) (which ain't gonna happen).
