It also helps if you put some GROUPS in the scan list as well!
I feel so stupid on this one,but am glad I got it!

I needed to remove r33 on the alpha head to go from 32 to 160 channels

also r 156 on the control unit as well as replacing IC 109 on the control unit and IC 3 on the alpha head.

My configuration is those:

ic 108 - FAA

ic 109 on the control unit - x24c04p
ic 3 on the alpha head - x24c04p

Probably, it gives only 32 channels....

BUT! The radio station is not programmed.. (ERROR on the display). What resistors need to be removed or put in this case? r156 on the control unit, r33, r35 on alpha head?..

What type EEPROM ` s are necessary for 160 channels?

Thank you!

Do the reverse of my last post to go to a 32 channel radio, for 160 channels, you will need x24c16p ic's
You will still need to program the radio and tell it what it is supposed to be!

I have TK-730&830 Dual Band. TK-630H for us a big rarity, I to myself search for such radio:o)
In main for us are applied Motorola M-208/216, Vertex and domestic radio stations.
A commercial freq. range 33 - 48.5 MHz, 57.0 - 57.5 MHz, 12.5 kHz channel step
Militarian: 30-108 MHz, 25 kHz channel step.

I am not sure if the 630-3 will work up to 57 mhz,it does do 54 mhz,and vco locks there,u need to spread a few coils in the PA for full 110 watts.
they have a few 630-3 42-50 radios on ebay, going for about 300 american dollars.
I will be happy to see if they will go to 57-58 mhz as soon as I have some spare time.
Let me know if you need this information?

Frequencies in a range 57.0 - 57.5 now almost do not produce.
It happens very seldom.
In main use a range 33-48 MHz.

Yes, I saw on eBay oferts on TK-630H (200-300$). But there is a problem with delivery to Russia.
