KPG20 is software, KPT20 is a stand alone ee-prom reader/writer.

Yeah,and hardly worth 500 bucks,concidering what radios it programs...old ones!

I heard of old TRS-80's going way too high a couple years ago. Some folks had them for specific uses and when theirs died they didn't have any way to get to the data. One guy gave over $400 for a good Model 4. It was quite valuable to him for a specific reason.

Same for this programmer.

Now we can argue the computer user should have upgraded years ago. possible same for the radio this programs. But I come from a backgroud of "If it's working keep it."

I still have several 30 year old Standard C890L radios that work just as well as my newest Kenwood ... in some uses.
